OUR ETHICS
“AI is a powerful tool that can be used for good, though it’s each company’s responsibility to ensure their AI be used ethically. We believe how AI is developed is as important as what AI is used for.”
— Emily Charry Tissier, CEO
TECHNOLOGY USE
We are driven by a strong set of values within Whale Seeker and that same dedication applies to how our tools are used. We create our solutions to better our world - environmentally, socially, economically.
We do not support our work being used for whaling, illegal fishing, skirting other environmental laws and regulations, and other activities we perceive as going against our core values.
We abide by the Montréal Declaration for a responsible development of Artificial intelligence (AI). This declaration suggests an ethical framework for the development and deployment of AI to achieve an inclusive, equitable, and ecologically sustainable development.
The ten key ethical principles of the declaration are: well-being, respect for autonomy, protection of privacy and intimacy, solidarity, democratic participation, equity, diversity inclusion, prudence, responsibility and sustainable development.

so we've rounded up the ones we felt were most relevant and answered them for you.
Our team loves to stay in the loop of the latest AI developments and conversations - and blog about it.
